Broward County Ordinance 2022-31

Landlord Tenant Committee:

I believe the listserv previously discussed Broward County ordinance 2022 -
21 (re. sixty-day notice to increase rent), but I cannot find where anyone
circulated 2022 - 31 re. Broward County's adoption of a Tenant Bill of
Rights. This new ordinance imposes obligations on landlords, so I wanted to
make sure we circulated so our committee members are aware of the new
obligations. This goes into effect on September 1st.

Hello & Happy Monday,

Another local ordinance out of Miami-Dade regarding the rental of Accessory
Dwelling Units is on the agenda for this week's commission meeting. Thought
you all may be interested in reviewing. This appears to be an attempt to
increase affordable housing options by making ADUs easier to rent.
