Just spoke with Holly’s dad in Wapiti, (West of Cody) WY. Seventeen degrees last night with light snow.

At least we have the “first snow” out of the way. Weather is really unpredictable out there right now, it always is.

Opening of Elk season, October 1st,  it is either too hot (high in the low 80s/low in the 40s) or too cold (high in the 50s lows in the teens) but because it is very dry it is always beautiful. Wyoming, like Florida is a very sunny state!

Remember to hydrate, bring layers and  chapstick. Living in Florida I always forget how dry it can be. Looking forward to a great time - Bill‘s plans are all first class. See you there, Mike

This is the description of the Monday weather in Jackson from one of the Jackson news websites:

“ A strong cold front arrived from the north on Monday afternoon and a rapid temperature drop followed. The temperature at the Jackson Hole Airport fell from 75 at 3:50 p.m. to 34 at 7:15 p.m. — a 41 degree temperature drop in less than three and a half hours! “

BRING CLOTHES THAT YOU CAN LAYER!!!!!!!

Regards,

Steve Hearn
