[11 sustainable ways to experience Yellowstone National Park - Lonely Planet]
Good afternoon all! We are now 3 weeks away!!!!!!
I am writing to remind you of our current evening plans for Jackson Hole Trip. We have the following dinners planned together:
Wednesday evening Welcome Reception at the Handle Bar Four Seasons. This is a welcome to town, come as you are, event planned right in the hotel. We'll have live music, drinks, and food as you take in the cool air and atmosphere of the Teton Village. The venue is located at the foot of the mountains with outdoor seating and fireplaces galore.
Thursday evening dinner at the Rendezvous Lodge. Grab a cocktail as you take a ride to the top of Renezvouz Mountain just outside the Four Seasons on your own family gondola. The event will take place at the lodge at the top of the mountain where you will enjoy panoramic view of Jackson Hole, star-gazing, fantastic food, and music from one ton pig. This event is family frendly.
Friday early evening Reception and Dinner at the Diamond Cross Ranch. Join us for an evening like no other at one of Jackson Hole's last privately held, histroic operating raches. It is located at the base of the Tetons and offers a stunning setting as rich as the cowboy history that surrounds it. We'll enjoy an outdoor reception and dinner inside the barn along with a Horse Whispering Demonstration, live music, cowboy poetry, campfires, and s'mores. Cowboy hats and boots are welcome and encouraged.
All of our events are intended to be resort/cowboy casual and family friendly. Be sure to dress in layers because the temperatures drop pretty rapidly as the sun goes down and in comfortable shoes, particularly for the outdoor events.
For Saturday evening, we have made reservations for groups of 6 (5 at the Blue Lion) around the Jackson area as part of our dine-around. If you would like to participate in a dine around, please sign up be using this link by next Friday, September 18, 2020: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E044EABA72DA6F94-ilvillagiohttps://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E044EABA72DA6F94-ilvillagio. If our slots fill up, we will work on making additional reservations for the group. I have attached the list of recommended dining options from the concierge at the Four Seasons. Information on the restaraunts can be found on the list as well as on the sign up sheet. Note that we have set aside two reservations for the restaurant at the Four Seasons and the one at II Villagio Osteria which is within walking distance for folks who are not interested in going to downtown Jackson. The Rendezvous Bistro is on the way to downtown but is not directly downtown. If you are planning to make reservation on your own, please make sure you do so before you arrive in Jackson. It is sometimes difficult to find a open table the day of.
Please remember that we cannot control the environments of the dine around. As we have all observed, some restaraunts seem to be better than others in enforcing social distancing. All restaraunts in Jackson are still required to abide by current state and local distancing guidelines which require face coverings for staff, tables of no more than 6, and tables distanced at least 6 feet apart. That current order expires on 9/15 but will likely be extended. I will send out current information for the dates of our trip as we get a little closer. As with all of our events, there is a risk of COVID-19 exposure in any public place where people are present. By attending our events, you voluntarily assume all risks related to COVID-19 exposure.
Lastly, Mary Ann is going to be reaching out to each of you individually before the end of the week to confirm your tour information. Please be sure to respond to her promptly as we want to make sure that we have everyone accounted for and signed up for the activities that they desire. We have kept the same general itinerary but some of our vendors have changed a bit due to Covid restrictions so we'll need to roll some with the punches. Most notably, we have made arrangements for larger and additional transportation to permit zipper seating on the motor coaches.
I am so looking forward to our trip. Can't wait to see you all soon!
