Dear committee members,
The Leasing Committee will be meeting by Zoom tomorrow afternoon from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. We will discuss new leadership assignments, as well as a have a legislative and case law update. The agenda is attached. If you have been thinking about getting more involved in the committee, I hope you will attend tomorrow's Zoom meeting.
Once you have registered to attend the meeting you will receive a link to download the app to attend all of the committee and Section events and which will have direct links to each committee Zoom meeting. If you haven't registered, below is the information on how to attend the meetings (including tomorrow's committee meeting):
Below are the steps to register for the upcoming Breakers committee meetings and functions. Please read the entire email before clicking any links.
Executive Council Meeting Events link: https://thefloridabar-aeifx.formstack.com/forms/2021breakers (It helps if you log into the Florida Bar website first and then click the links)
After you register for on-site events (remember that the Legislative Update is a separate registration), you will receive an email regarding hotel room reservations. Unfortunately, the Breakers' hotel room block is already full. The hotel is operating at reduced capacity and we do not have the same number of rooms in our block that we normally have. After registering for the events, you will receive an email (be patient, it may take a little while for the email to arrive) that will have options for you. You can choose to get on the waiting list for the Breakers, reserve a room at the Brazilian Court on Palm Beach, select another local hotel or attend via Zoom from wherever you are. Please know that unlike previous years, those staying offsite can come to the Breakers for the various meetings, meals and seminar, but cannot use the pool and beach area. My apologies, this is a new hotel policy - we have done our best to obtain more rooms, and we will continue to work on this, but unfortunately this is out of our control.
41st Legislative Update Seminar link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/41st-annual-rpptl-legislative-update-tickets-155878892965. Registration for the in-person seminar will not provide you with different access to a hotel room.
