Good afternoon everyone.
The Leasing Committee will be holding a 45 minute conference call next Friday at 12:00 pm to discuss residential lease issues surrounding COVID-19. Harry Heist has agreed to moderate this discussion but we need additional speakers.
Please let me know if you are willing to be a speaker for this call. Some potential topics are: insurance, evictions, moratoriums, this FHA guidance, etc., but an agenda has not yet been finalized.
Feel free to call me on my cell phone if you have any questions. (904)535-4346.
Thanks.
Brenda

I don't really have any special knowledge to offer myself up as a speaker,
but we need to add dealing with Condo Associations to the discussion. Many
of the calls I have gotten this week relate to Association Board "emergency
rules" that go so far as to refuse ANY guests (even a kid coming home from
school or a boyfriend/girlfriend who has been around forever, or an
approved housekeeper) or which are just refusing to consider applications
for leases or purchase. The emergency authority of the Associations is a
huge issue for landlords AND tenants.

Hope you and your family are doing okay. I can take evictions in Florida. We are all doing well. Ralph had emergency gall bladder surgery almost a month ago. He is doing well, and doing what he loves to do best - watch movies and Fox news. A
