I'm sure the consensus is that nobody, regardless of whether you represent landlords or tenants, would ever question the need, much less pursue court action, for any legitimately disabled person. However, it's painfully obvious how often this is abused and it's not that hard to tell the difference. Preventing the abuse and false claims is what I suspect Harry is suggesting should be dealt with.

If FAR, every other state association, NAR, NAA, CAI, NARPM and NMHC all got together, I feel this can be fixed.
This is absurd and should be a top priority.
On top of this, so many people are confusing the FHA with the ADA.
They fixed this somewhat with the ADA but not the FHA.
As long as no one does anything, nothing will change.
