[Jackson Wyoming Stagecoach Rides - AllTrips]

Good morning friends.  It's hard to believe that our trip is already less than a month away.  Just a couple of reminders, bits of info, and updates as we get ready to go.

First, Jackson weather during the first week of October is transitioning.  It can be absolutely beautiful with cool nights and days in the 60s.  It can also be downright chilly.  Jackson actually received its first snowfall of the season this week!  It's all melted now but a good reminder that you'll need to pack for colder weather.  Accuweather predicts beautiful sunny days with highs from 52-67 and nights in the mid-30s.  Let's hope they are spot on!  The leaves should be changing and spectacular.  We should also hear the bugling of bull elk as they descend from the alpine meadows to the valley meadows to begin their annual rut.  If you are interested, check out this site for more on the elk and the best places to observe them in Grand Teton National Park.  https://www.gtnpf.org/adventure-journal-top-3-spots-to-listen-to-elk-bugle-in-october/

A number of you have asked whether you'll need a vehicle.  The Four Season at Teton Village is located in the ski resort area of Jackson Hole.  There are a number of good restaurants and activities within walking distance of the hotel.  We will be separated from downtown Jackson by a good 25 minute ride.  We will be providing a complimentary shuttle to downtown throughout the day on Friday and Saturday.  Of course, taxis and Uber are also available.  Please fill out this survey so that we can gather your planned arrival information: https://thefloridabar-aeifx.formstack.com/forms/jacksonhole_infohttps://thefloridabar-aeifx.formstack.com/forms/jacksonhole_info
Mary Ann and I are going to see what we can arrange for airport transfers for groups arriving at or around the same time.  As for bus transportation, we are planning to utilize a zipper or snake system- every other row open- keeping capacity at 50%.  So, as for whether you'll need a vehicle, that's up to you.  If you plan to take some time to explore Grand Teton National Park or Yellowstone National Park on your own, then the answer is absolutely yes- a vehicle is a must.

If you are traveling with a child, don't forget about the Every Kid Outdoors program. https://everykidoutdoors.gov/index.htmhttps://everykidoutdoors.gov/index.htm It provides free park admission for 4th graders, all children under 16 in the group, and up to three accompanying adults (or the entire car).

Attached is an updated list of attendees.  We will likely be picking up a few more registrations this week keeping our group at right around 100.

Lastly, for now-of course, Mary Ann and I are working on final arrangements for each of tours.  We are trying to accommodate everyone's requests for optional tours and working within some changes from our vendors.  We will be updating you later this week on the various itineraries.

Thanks for your patience on all of these issues.  Looking forward to a fun trip,

Bill Hennessey
