Public Adjuster
Good Afternoon,
Yesterday afternoon one of my client's homes was struck by lightning. They have a significant fire loss. The house is in central Florida located on a prestige lake.
I am guessing the house and contents are worth north of $5,000,000.
I am encouraging the client to use a public adjuster to deal with their insurance company.
Does anyone have a referral? I would appreciate any help you can render.

Many PA’s have a 10% fee provision in their contracts and I have seen them as high as 20% in the wake of hurricanes. Your client may be in a better position to negotiate that amount than some homeowners, but I would wait to at least see what kind of estimate the insurer comes up with before taking that step.
