Bill, I’d strongly prefer January 29 or February 1 since they tie into the RPPTL Executive Council meeting, and I will be able to attend those meetings in person.  I can attend the other two proposed dates via teleconference, if necessary, but I’ll have to drop off of the February 18th call by 11:30 a.m., if that date is selected, due to a schedule conflict that afternoon.
Best regards,
John

Good morning and happy Friday everyone!  I am honored and humbled that you have placed this big RPPTL ship in my hands for 2020-21 year.  I can’t begin to tell all of you how much I appreciate the mentoring you have given me over the years.  I have a lot of big shoes to fill.

In one of my first official acts of business, I’d like to see if we can nail down a date for the Long Range Planning meeting for next year (thanks to Michael Gelfand for reminding me and putting the bug in my ear at the Breakers!  It takes a village…) .  I’d like to get a sense as to whether the majority of you would prefer to meet in conjunction with an Executive Council Meeting or have a separately scheduled meeting.  Rob has a meeting in Tampa at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay scheduled for the last week of January.  If the preference is to meet at that time while everyone is already assembled, we can push up some of our end of year deadlines and hold our Officer’s meeting in early January so that I can get all of our materials out to you on time.  This would give us a proposed meeting date of Wednesday, January 29, or Saturday, February 1 (after the Executive Council meeting).  Alternatively, we can hold the meeting separately in February.

I would thus like to propose the following dates and locations for the Long-Range Planning Committee meeting:

Wednesday, January 29 –Grand Hyatt Tampa 12 PM
Saturday, February 1- Grand Hyatt Tampa (After the EC Meeting)
Tuesday, February 18--- Gunster Fort Lauderdale Office (10AM)
Wednesday, February 19th---- Gunster Fort Lauderdale Office  (10AM)

Please let me know if one or all of these dates will work, and if you would plan to attend in person or by phone.  I’d like to see if we can find a date that works for everyone.

I look forward to hearing back from you with your thoughts and comments.  Thanks for putting faith in me.  I’ll make sure it’s not misplaced.

Many thanks,

Bill Hennessey

Good morning Bill -

I was away attending the graduation of one of my granddaughters, but agree with the group consensus that the Tampa scheduled meetings, which I will attend, would be preferred. I will be present by telephone for the other meetings.

> > I would thus like to propose the following dates and locations for the Long-Range Planning Committee meeting: > > Wednesday, January 29 –Grand Hyatt Tampa 12 PM > Saturday, February 1- Grand Hyatt Tampa (After the EC Meeting) > Tuesday, February 18--- Gunster Fort Lauderdale Office (10AM) > Wednesday, February 19th---- Gunster Fort Lauderdale Office (10AM) > > Please let me know if one or all of these dates will work, and if you would plan to attend in person or by phone.
