Good morning ALMs!
Attached is the agenda for tomorrow's meeting at 4:30pm.
Also attached is the RPPTL Connect packet. This program is being
spearheaded by the Membership Committee. If you're available to attend and
assist that would be appreciated. We will be meeting at 11:30 this
morning.
Here is the information regarding this program:
The first RPPTL Connect 2025 (Membership Committee Voluntary Bar
Conference) meeting is set for Thursday morning at 11:30am (or a bit
earlier) in the Queen Room at the Four Seasons. The timetable will be:
- Check in the 18 pre-registered attendees (which include law students
and lawyers) starting at 10:30am. Membership Committee members and some
ALMs will welcome the attendees and assist them with check in and name
tags.
- Once settled, the group will be led downstairs to the Queen room to
attend the orientation session. That session is listed on the Section
meeting brochure as “Membership Committee Voluntary Bar Conference” for
11:30am, but we are looking to start things a bit earlier.
- The orientation “package” is attached for your review, questions,
etc. The orientation session is set to last between 35 and 40 minutes. We
would love it if any of you can make an appearance during this orientation
meeting.
- After the orientation, the group will be brought back upstairs for
lunch (buffet) and will sit with the other committee/Section members during
lunch. Attendees are assigned a Membership Committee Vice-Chair or ALM to
assist with logistics, answering questions, introducing to Section members
and generally acting as an ambassador.
- At 1:00pm those attendees interested in attending the Residential Real
Estate & Industry Liaison Committee meeting will be able to do so and will
again be accompanied.
- At 2:00pm those attendees interested in attending the Probate & Trust
Litigation Committee meeting will be able to do so. We wanted the
attendees to be introduced at each of these substantive committee
meetings. The agendas for these substantive committee meetings are to be
included in the package we are emailing to the attendees tomorrow morning.
The “program” ends at the end of the Probate & Trust Committee meeting.
I look forward to seeing you all this weekend!
Brenda
Best regards,
