Many of you know that I train thousands of people a year at the various property manager associations, apartment associations and Boards and Associations of REALTORS in Florida. Non-lawyers for the most part attend these classes. Property managers. They have taken my information, my outlines, my handouts and my content, created classes and these are being approved by the DBPR Bureau of Education and Testing on a regular basis for CE Credits. For example, one is Security Deposits, one is Evictions. Non-lawyers are teaching these classes. Does anyone know how to put an end to this? These people are giving LEGAL ADVICE and I received calls all the time about incorrect things these people are being taught. Does anyone have any contact person high up to talk to or know how to put an end to this? CORELAW classes have been approved for years and are taught by non-lawyers. It is out of control.
