[RPPTL LandTen] FW: Section 713.10 Bill

Committee members, please see the latest draft to the 713.10 "glitch" bill.  This our second attempt to completely correct the Everglades Electric case problem that did not make into the revisions to the statute approved in last year's legislative session and recently enacted into law.  Thus supercedes the earlier circulated edited bil from a week ago.

Subject: Section 713.10 Bill

Attached is a revised bill and White Paper and a redline showing the changes to the White Paper.  The changes in the bill appear to be acceptable to the Construction Law Committee although Reese Henderson was polling members and asking for any objections by close of business today and I have not heard the outcome of that polling.

Representative Moraitis has indicated that if the Section can come to a consensus he will consider filing the changes this year although he is still reviewing the issues.

We have a contingent meeting scheduled for tomorrow at noon should Reese receive any objections from his members to this approach.
