Happy late Friday afternoon to all! As the Long-Range Planning Committee meeting is fast approaching (Wednesday, February 27th at 10:00 am, here at the Tampa offices of Carlton Fields), attached please find a bookmarked PDF which contains the following materials:
Long-Range Planning Committee Worksheet;
General Standing Division committee leadership chart for the 2019-2020 Bar year;
Real Property Division committee leadership chart for the 2019-2020 Bar year;
Probate & Trust Division committee leadership chart for the 2019-2020 Bar year;
Historical chart of the Executive Committee members from 2009 to 2019;
Chart showing positions previously held by the current Executive Committee members;
Executive Council attendance rosters for:
a. 2018-2019 Bar year (current through December's meeting);
b. 2017-2018 Bar year;
c. 2016-2017 Bar year; and
d. 2015-2016 Bar year; and
Executive Council directory for the 2018-2019 Bar year.
For those of you who will be attending in person, I will have hard copies of these materials ready for your use.
You will note the absence of the materials pertaining to the ALMs. At last week's Officer's Planning Meeting, the Executive Committee completed proposed lists of ALMs to be reappointed, ALMs recommended to be dropped, and new ALMs to be appointed. However, after the discussions at the Strategic Planning Committee meeting that followed, the Executive Committee felt that it needed to review these lists again to make sure that the recommendations were correct. I anticipate being able to send the ALMs materials out to you around the middle of next week.
Based upon the emails that I have received to date, I show the following as attending the meeting in person:
Dave Brennan
Sandy Diamond
Laird Lile
Bruce Marger
George Meyer
Drew O'Malley
Melissa Murphy
John Neukamm
Peggy Rolando
Mike Swaine
If I have missed your email indicating that you will be here, please let me know.
For those of you who will not be able to attend in person, I have attached a calendar invite that you can drag into your Outlook calendar, and it contains the dial-in information, which is as follows:
Dial 1-888-376-5050 Passcode 1616423201#
You may be wondering why the calendar invite sent previously as well as the one attached hereto show a meeting time from 10:00-3:00, and you may be asking yourselves "Does Rob really think that we will be meeting for that long? Is he crazy? Have we made a mistake with Freedman?" Without answering the last question, this block of time was a "just in case" scenario, and I do not anticipate that it will take that long. For those of you who are attending, we will have lunch (and perhaps some liquid refreshments) for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and have a great weekend.
Regards, Rob
